Reports To: HR Recruitment, SIMATS Engineering.
Position Overview:
Teach foreign language courses to engineering students, focusing on language skills relevant to their field.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and update language curriculum for engineering students.
– Teach and assess undergraduate and graduate language courses.
– Provide academic advising and mentorship.
– Collaborate with engineering faculty on integrating language into technical courses.
– Conduct research and publish findings in language education.
Qualifications:
– Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics, Foreign Language Education, or related field.
– Proficiency in the designated foreign language.
– Teaching experience at the college level preferred.
– Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with language courses for technical students.
– Knowledge of industry-specific terminology.
