It is run under the aegis of Nagpur Shikshan Mandal, Nagpur. It is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. In the begining, the college had started the undergraduate courses in the Arts Faculty. In the year 1964-65 it started Commerce faculty at the undergraduate level. In the year 1974-75 it started a Junior College , XI and XII classes in Arts & Commerce as per Government policy.
