Organization Profile: Shivaji University, established in 1962, is named after the Great Maratha Warrior and founder of the Maratha empire Chhatrapati Shivaji. It was inaugurated on 18th November 1962 by Dr. Radhakrishnan, the then President of India. One of the major objectives behind the foundation of this University was to cater to the regional needs of South Maharashtra. The jurisdiction of the University is spread over three districts viz. Kolhapur, Sangli and Satara with the strength of about 3,00,000 students studying in 271 affiliated colleges and recognized institutes. This region of Maharashtra boasts of rich and varied socio-cultural heritage. Qualification:
a. Ph. D. degree and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Computer Science Technology/ Electronics and Tele Communication Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Food Engineering.
b. At least two successful Ph.D. guided as supervisor / Co-Supervisor and minimum 8 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.
c. Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching / research/ industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at the post equivalent to that of Professor.
Note
1. This position is contractual in nature for a term of 5 years or till he/she attains the age as prescribed by UGC/AICTE whichever is earlier.
2. Performance assessment shall be carried out through a committee appointed by the affiliating university.

- Candidate should complete their PG in relevant discipline with first class
- Candidate should have Good Communication Skill

Pay Scale: –Director- Academic Lever- 14 Entry Pay 1,44,200/- with the special allowance of Rs. 6750/- per month.
Duration : s only for 11 months of a Research Assistant for its various activities.
