Organization Profile: The Institute was established by the Government of Punjab in 1995 with the name Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering & Technology as a tribute to the great martyr Shaheed Bhagat Singh. In the academic year 2011-12, it was upgraded to the status of a technical campus and rechristened as Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur. The institute is fully promoted by the Punjab Government and is registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act 1860. Its affairs are administered by a Board of Governors. The Technical Campus, with its lush green state-of-the-art campus spread over 98 acres is situated on Ferozepur-Moga Road, about four Kilometers away from the Ferozepur city.

- Candidate should be enrolled in the latest adhoc panel of the respective Department of the University of Delhi. Candidates whose name is not enrolled in the latest adhoc panel list will not be considered for the interview.
- The Guest Faculty considered for appointment should not hold any other teaching assignment.
- The superannuated teachers may also be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty subject to maximum age limit of 70 years.
- The College reserves the right to add or delete the number of posts or not to fill up any or all the post(s) mentioned above.
- Guest faculty will not be treated like regular teachers for the purpose of voting rights or for becoming members of the various statutory bodies of the University.

Salary:
- They will be given Honorarium @Rs.1500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of
Rs.50,000/- per month.
