Project Title: Energetics of the Indian summer monsoon and systematic Bias in MoES Monsoon Mission Models over Northwest India
Sponsored by: Monsoon Mission -III, Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology – IITM, under Ministry of Earth Sciences (Mo ES).
Essential Qualification:
Master’s degree in Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences Sciences/ Earth Sciences/ Climate Sciences/ Physics/ Geophysics (Meteorology)/ Mathematics/ Statistics with minimum 6 COPA or 60% marks from recognized university or equivalent. Two years’ research experience in the field of atmospheric/climate data analysis ( or)
M.Tech in Atmospheric Sciences/Ocean Sciences/Computer Science/Data Science from a recognized university or equivalent.
Duration: The position will be offered initially for one year and can be extended based on performance and review after every one year
Fellowship/ Monthly Compensation: INR: 42,000/- per month +20 % HRA
