Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Project Title: “Reconstruction of Holocene vegetation climate and sea-level fluctuation from the Mahanadi Delta, Odisha, East coast India: A Multiproxy approach”
Duration: Initially for one year (extendable for 1 year based on performance)
Desirable Qualification: Demonstrable experience in foraminiferal/micropaleontological / palaeoclimatic studies in the form of M.Sc. research/thesis work/internship
Eligibility:
- M.Sc. in Marine Science / Oceanography / Geology / Environmental Science / any relevant stream of Earth Science with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
- Must have cleared National Eligibility Tests CSIR/UGC – NET or NET Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and/or a valid GATE score.
OR - Should have cleared National Level examinations / Fellowships conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DOS, DRDO, MHIRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, 1Sc, IISER, DST INSPIRE, Ete.
