Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering:

Research Project: Design and Implementation of Low Complexity Wavelet Encoder using Approximate Computations for wireless visual sensor network applications
Principal investigator Prof. B. K. Mohanty
Tenure of appointment The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, and /or till the fund is available. Tentatively: 3 Years
Fellowship amount Rs.31,000/- (fixed) per month
Essential qualifications Candidates with M.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication
Engineering/Electronics/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the recognized university are eligible to apply.
Desirable: Experience on VHDL coding, familiar with Synopsys EDA Tools, FPGA and Vivado Tools is highly desirable. Good knowledge of MATLAB programming and fundamental concepts of signal processing algorithms will be an added advantage.

Essential qualifications Candidates with B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology or MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science from the recognized university are eligible to apply.
Desirable: Applicants with basic Knowledge in Machine Learning and R/Python.
