Organization Profile: National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) was established in 1977 as ‘Malaria Research Centre’, which was renamed as ‘National Institute of Malaria Research’ in November 2005. Qualification:
- Scientist-D (Non-Medical): 1st class master degree with the relevant subject from a recognized university with eight years experience or 2nd class MSc/PhD Degree in relevant subjects from recognized university with eight years
experience.
Desirable: Candidate should have strong scientific writing and verbal skills.
- Project Officer: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with five-year work experience of administration/ finance and accounts work.
Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized university/ institution. Knowledge of computer applications.
- Data Entry Operator Grade – A: Intermediate or 12th Pass from a recognized board with a speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions (in English) per hour through speed test on computer.
Pay Scale:
- Scientist-D (Non-Medical): Rs. 54000/- pm plus HRA as applicable
- Project Officer: Rs.32,000/- pm
- Data Entry Operator Grade – A: Rs.17,000/ pm
