Research Centre: Centre for Research – Centre for Smart Energy Systems
About the Research Centre: The Centre for Smart Energy Systems focuses on advancing sustainable, intelligent, and interdisciplinary energy technologies for modern power and energy systems. The centre promotes research in smart grids, power system optimization, distributed energy resources, and energy conversion technologies, with active participation from multiple engineering disciplines. Research areas include renewable and clean energy systems, energy storage, hydrogen and alternative fuels, advanced materials, thermal and mechanical energy systems, bio-energy, and energy-efficient hardware platforms. Emphasis is placed on collaborative, innovation-driven research and the development of practical, scalable solutions that support clean, resilient, and future-ready energy infrastructures.
Job Title: Research Faculty
Essential Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Engineering disciplines such as Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Mechatronics, or Bio-related Engineering. The candidate’s research specialization must be in the energy domain, with research experience from a recognized university or institute. Candidates working in Electric Vehicles (EVs), Smart Grids, IoT, AI/ML-based energy systems, power electronics, or digital energy technologies related to the energy sector are also encouraged to apply.
Publication Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 research articles in SCI/SCIE journals or a combined impact factor of 25 or above
- Minimum of 5 SCI/SCIE journal publications in the last one year
Salary: Negotiable for deserving candidates
