Government of India after rechristening the erstwhile Bihar College of Engineering Patna on 28. 01. 2004. NIT Patna marked its humble beginning in 1886 with the establishment of a pleaders survey training school which was subsequently promoted of Bihar College of Engineering Patna in 1924.

Project Title: “Design and development of oxide based perovskite nanostructures/heterostructures for solar cell applications”.
Qualification: Master degree (M.Sc.) in Physics with at least 55% and valid NET/GATE score with preferable specialization in Solid State Physics/Physics with electronics/Materials science. Candidates with M.Tech. degree in Nano-Science and Technology/ Materials Science, are also eligible to apply.
Job Location: Patna, Bihar
Scale of Pay: Rs. 31,000/- per month + 18% HRA as per rules
Project Duration: Initially for 1 year with possible extension depending on performance. The position is purely temporary and performance will be reviewed periodically. The position is coterminous with the
project.
