Job title/Designation: Senior Professor

Qualification and Experience:

• Essential: Ph.D in Physics/Astronomy and Astrophysics/Space Science and/or in a relevant field. A minimum of fourteen years’ post-doctoral experience.
• Desirable: Demonstrated leadership and broad vision in the field of Astronomy and Astrophysics. Experience and expertise to lead major initiatives and capacity building, in particular, in space science research. Evidence of high professional eminence by way of recognitions like fellowships of academies and/or national/international awards in science and technology.
