The university has 8 Research Stations, located at Ballowal Saunkhri (Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar), Gurdaspur, Faridkot, Bathinda, Abohar, Kapurthala, Usman (Taran Taran) and Dyal Bharang (Amritsar); 3 Fruit Research Stations, situated at Gangian (Hoshiarpur), Bahadurgarh (Patiala) and Jallowal & Lesriwal (Jalandhar); and 4 Seed Farms, located at Naraingarh (Fatehgarh Sahib), Ladhowal (Ludhiana), Nabha (Patiala) and Birsikhanwala (Faridkot).

Project Title: Strengthening Cotton Production for Diversification of Agricultural in Punjab, Misc.-67 (PC-4906)
Qualifications:
- B.Sc.. with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
- M.Sc. in any branch of Agri. Sciences or M.Sc. in Life Sciences with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.
Note:

The candidates who does not possess Master degree in relevant subject but possess Ph.D degree in the discipline required at Masters level, will be eligible for the post.

Preference will be given to candidates having experience M.Sc. /Ph.D in Agricultural Sciences.
Project Duration: Initially for six months or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier.
Job Responsibilities:
- To conduct laboratory and field research work in the disciplines of Breeding/Agronomy/ Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology of cotton.
- Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
Pay Scale: Rs.25000- p.m. fixed+ HRA
