Job Summary
Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate studios and lectures, as well as show a strong interest in designing and developing coursework and curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in architecture, including design studios, technical subjects, and theory-based courses.
- Integrate advanced digital tools and contemporary methodologies into design education.
- Publish in peer-reviewed journals, present at conferences, and contribute to thought leadership in architectural education and practice and mentor students in research initiatives and interdisciplinary projects.
- Guide students in design thinking, innovation, and critical inquiry. and supervise their research, theses, and dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Plan and implement educational activities and events
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Architecture or equivalent to B. Arch. and Master‘s Degree in Architecture or in allied subjects of Architecture with minimum 60 per cent.
- Proven 8 years of experience in teaching/ research/ professional work out of which a full-time teaching experience of minimum 3 years or 13 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in application of design software, 3D modelling software, and other relevant software applications.
- Graduates / Post Graduates from reputed National/ International institutions will carry weightage.
- Excellent presentation, communication skills and commitment towards work.
