Title of the Project: Synthesis and antibacterial evaluation of compounds derived from tryptanthrin and β-carbolines targeting MDR bacterial pathogens
Essential Qualifications: M..Sc Chemistry from a recognized Institute/University or statutory body OR equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate score; For SC/ST category, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate score
Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates having (i) CSIR/UGC
JRFNET/GATE (ii) working experience in a synthetic organic lab or industry
Project Duration: Up to the termination of the project, subject to annual performance review. The project is for 3 years.
