As per UGC norms for the appointment of Assistant Professor

Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in Electronic Media/Mass Communication or in a relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. Master’s degree holders in disciplines where national tests like UGC NET or CSIR NET are not conducted are exempt from the NET/SLET/SET requirement for guest faculty positions.

Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferable
Tenure : Till the last working day of the Academic Year 2026-27 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Pay Scale: Honorarium of Rs. 1500/- per Lecture (Subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month)
