Invites applications for 4 full-time PhD scholars to work in the area of Applied Control Engineering at Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore.

Stipend

• INR 25,000 – 35,000 per month
• (Stipend will be decided based on academic background, qualifying exams and prior publications)

Research Focus Areas

• Fractional-order controllers & advanced PID control
• Nonlinear and multivariable process control
• Autonomous & unmanned systems (robots, UAVs)
• Process modelling, control & optimization
• Wireless monitoring and networked control systems

About the Supervisor

I am Dr. P. Arun Mozhi Devan, CEng, Assistant Professor (Senior Grade), Department of EEE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

• PhD: Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia
• Former Postdoctoral Research Scientist (UTP, Malaysia)
• 16+ SCI journal publications, international books & patents
• Strong experience in industry-driven research, IP development, and funded projects
