Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychological Counselor to provide emotional, psychological, and academic counseling to students. The ideal candidate should have expertise in engaging with young adults, helping them navigate academic pressures, emotional challenges, and personal development needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling to students facing emotional, psychological, academic, or social challenges.
- Conduct group sessions or workshops on topics such as stress management, exam anxiety, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and self-esteem.
- Work proactively with students to develop coping strategies for academic and personal pressures.
- Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to identify students who may benefit from counseling services.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines in counseling practices.
- Provide referrals to external mental health professionals or resources as needed.
- Prepare periodic reports on student wellness trends (without disclosing individual identities).
Desired Profile
- Education: Master’s Degree in Psychology / Counseling Psychology / Clinical Psychology or related field.
- Experience:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in psychological counseling, preferably with students or young adults.
- Ability to connect with students and understand the unique challenges of academic environments.
- Skills:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathetic listener with non-judgmental attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical boundaries.
- Knowledge of student development, mental health, and counseling best practices.

- Frequency: 2 days per week (flexible days, as mutually agreed)
