Organization Profile: Based on the experiences gained over a period of time, since its inception in 1954, in the running of Netarhat Residential School – a state government owned institution – the need was felt for making its management a more convenient and a dynamic one. Accordingly, the Jharkhand state government vide its decision in a cabinet meeting held in October 2010 decided to enable it to function as an autonomous institution. This paved the way for creation of Netarhat Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) that’s mandated to administer this institution.

(ii) (a) B.Ed. from any institution recognized by NCTE.
OR
(b) Degree in teaching from the Central institute of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad for English Teacher.
OR
(c) Two years integrated M.Sc.Ed. in relevant subject from Regional college of Education,
NCERT for science teacher in Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics. - OR
(d) Three years Teaching Experience of Senior Secondary / Plus 2 residential school
provided he/she gets a Degree in Education from an institution recognized by NCTE within a period of three years from the date of his/her joining the school.
OR
(e) Graduate Honours with at least 50% marks and Master’s Degree with at least 60% marks in relevant subject provided he/she gets Degree in Education from an institution recognized by NCTE within a period of three years from the date of his/her joining the school. - Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English other than language subjects.
- a. M.Com with Accountancy/Cost Accounting/Financial Accountancy as a major subject of study orMBA (Financial) shall be eligible. Holder of Degree of M.Com in applied or Business Economics shall not be eligible. Proficiency to communicate in Hindi and English.
