Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Title of the Project: Numerical simulation of III-V semiconductor thin films growth in MOCVD Process for Solar cell applications
Mandatory Qualifications:
PG Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/Material Engineering/Chemical Engineering or any Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with CAD software
- Understanding of the chemical reaction kinetics.
- Strong scientific writing and presentation skills
- Prior experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics packages will be an advantage.
Duration: The offered position will initially be for 12 months, extendable subject to performance and funding availability. Outstanding students will be encouraged to apply for PhD positions at IIT Gandhinagar.
Remuneration: Consolidated Rs.37,000/- per month + 27% HRA (if in-house accommodation is not available)
