Educational Qualification:
B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology OR M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology or its equivalent branches AND Ph.D. in relevant research area.
Releavant Experience: (i) 03 years after Ph.D. OR
(ii) 06 years total (not counting Ph.D. enrolment period) after obtaining M.Tech. Degree.
Additional Desirable Qualification:
Assistant Professor Grade-II (Contract)
- One publication in an SCI Journal.
- Two papers in SCI Journals or one patent; may be based on Ph.D. work
- Ph.D
Assistant Professor Grade-I (Regular)
- (i) One PhD supervision ongoing;
(ii) 01 patent;
(iii) Experience in industry or R&D lab of repute;
(iv) M. Tech, MSc or B Tech project supervision on live industrial problems.

Pay Scale:
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Pay level-12 (Rs. 1,01,500-1,67,400 with AGP Rs 8000/-)Regular
- Assistant Professor Grade-II Level-10/ Level-11 (on Contract) Rs. 57,700-98,200 (minimum pay of Rs. 70900/-) Pay level-10 (as per 7th CPC along with allowances admissible)
- With Experience: Rs. 68,900-1,17,200 (minimum pay of Rs. 71000/-) Pay level-11 (as per 7th CPC along with allowances admissible)
