For Assistant Professor (Sports Psychology) and Assistant Professor (Sports Nutrition), a Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant or allied subject is needed, along with NET/SLET/SET, or a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations for exemption. For Junior Engineer (Civil), a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant field with one year of experience is required, or a Diploma in Engineering with three years of relevant experience. For Public Relations Officer, a Master’s Degree with 55% marks in Journalism and Mass Communication is required.
Desirable: For Assistant Professor (Sports Coaching) posts, experience in teaching, training, or coaching sportspersons at the National level or higher, and evidence of participation in national or international competitions, coaching, or athlete development programmes is preferred. For Public Relations Officer, good working knowledge of computer applications is preferred.
Experience: Junior Engineer (Civil) requires one year of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or three years with a Diploma. Public Relations Officer requires at least five years of experience in the editorial department of a Central or State Government body, PSU, educational institution, accredited newspaper, news agency, radio, television, or reputed advertising agency, with a strong command of English, Hindi, and the regional language.
