Organization Profile: The National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh was inaugurated on 18th August 2010 as a member of a group of ten new NITs. These new NITs were established as centers of excellence in technical education to combat the growing need for technological professionals in India. NIT Arunachal Pradesh started functioning under the mentorship of NIT Durgapur till, when the first permanent Director Prof. (Dr.) Chandan Tilak Bhunia assumed the charge on 1st November, 2011.

Pay Scale:
- Honorarium of Rs.60,000/- (Rupees Sixty thousand only) per month for candidates possessing a Ph.D. qualification and Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand only) per month for candidates without Ph.D. Degree.

How to Apply:
- The engagement of Adjunct Faculty (Guest Faculty) positions will be based on a Presentation and or an Walk-in-interview in the presence of a duly constituted Selection Committee. The decision of the Selection Committees hall be final.
- All engagements will be on purely temporary basis for 10 (Ten) months only.
- Candidates must fill the application and submit while coming to walk-in interview (Application format attached)
- On the day of walk-in-interview, the candidates should report at 09:30 AM along with all the original documents to the Dean (FW) Cell.
- Except where the contract shall automatically terminate, the contract of appointment can be prematurely terminated by either party, before 30 days of the completion of the service of the contract, by giving at least 30 days’ notice period.
