Research Position:

Title of the project: Digitising the Puya Manuscripts in Meitei Mayek Script: Preservation of Endangered Indigenous Knowledge Systems of Manipur, India

Essential Qualifications:

  • Research Assistant (01)
    • Remuneration: 32000 INR + 10% HRA per month (12 months, co-terminus with the project)
    • Eligibility: Eligibility: MA in English/ History/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Library & Information Science.
    • Desirable: Knowledge of Manipuri language and past experience of working with equipment for photography and digitization, and knowledge of MS Office.
  • Technical Assistant and Field Coordinator (01)
    • Remuneration: 25000 INR + 10% HRA per month (10 months)
    • Graduate with knowledge of Meetei Mayek and Computer Skills
    • Desirable: Knowledge of Manipuri language and past experience of working with equipment for photography and digitization, and knowledge of MS Office.
