The Centre was initially worked as Branch Office of NIELIT, Chandigarh Centre. It has become an independent Centre of NIELIT since 1st November 2012 after jurisdiction of Centers. The center has accomplished many feats in executing various turnkey IT Projects which involved the computerization of many Hospitals and various Government offices of Delhi Govt., PSU, and Autonomous bodies of Govt. of India. Preparation of IT Plan has also been undertaken for many Offices of the Delhi Government.

a) As per UGC Regulations: M.Sc./MA in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/Differently-abled category) from a recognized University, along with a Ph.D. in Mathematics or an allied subject.
b) NET/SET/SLET, which shall not be required for candidates who already possess a Ph.D. Degree awarded in accordance with the UGC.
c) In case candidates with Ph.D. qualification or NET/SET/SLET are not available, then candidates with a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks may be considered. - English

- Selected candidate(s) shall be paid Honorarium @ Rs. 750/- (Seven Hundred Fifty only) per credit hour, with a monthly ceiling limit of Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty Thousand only).
