The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) is the erstwhile Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU), the world’s first and the only University dedicated to Forensic Science and allied subjects. Recognized as an Institution of National Importance (INI) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. NFSU is committed to advancing forensic education, research, and innovation. NFSU has established its transit campus at Radhanagar, Agartala, Tripura in November 2021 and a lush green permanent campus will be coming up soon at R.K Nagar, Agartala, Tripura spreading over approximately 15 acre of area.

Job Title: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for contractual engagement of Assistant Professors in the following areas for a period of 11 (eleven) months

Department : 

  • School of Forensic Science
  • School of Cyber Security & Digital Forensics (SCSDF)
    • Cyber Security & Digital Forensics

Qualification:

1. A good academic record
2. A Master’s degree with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade on a point scale the grading system is wherever followed) with Ph.D in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University.
3. Minimum two publications in the UGC-CARE listed journals

Job Location: Agartala, Tripura

Pay Scale: 

  • Assistant Professor (Regular Remuneration): Candidates having Ph.D. degree in relevant
    discipline with minimum first class or at least 60% or equivalent at the preceding degree in relevant discipline from recognised, university with very good academic record throughout shall be considered for the post of Assistant Professor (contractual) and will be paid consolidated remuneration of Rs. 90,000/- per month.
  • Assistant Professor (Lower Remuneration): Candidates having Master degree with minimum first class or at least 55% or equivalent in relevant discipline from recognised university with very good academic record throughout and qualified NET exam in relevant branch shall be considered for the post of Assistant Professor (contractual) and will be paid consolidated remuneration of Rs. 75,000/-per month.
