Position Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Professor in Smart Manufacturing with expertise in modern manufacturing technologies and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong research background, a passion for teaching, and hands-on experience in areas such as Human Machine Interface (HMI), PLC, SCADA, IoT/IIoT, Cyber-Physical Systems, and Smart Factories.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Smart Manufacturing and related areas.
- Develop and update curriculum in line with the latest advancements in Industry 4.0.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputed journals and conferences.
- Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Collaborate with industry partners for research and consultancy projects.
- Participate in departmental and institutional activities, including academic administration.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Smart Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
- Ph.D. must be from Institutes of National Importance (IIT, IIM, NIT) or any recognized foreign university.
- 0 to 6 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industry experience.
