Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent to B.Arch. and Master’s Degree in Architecture or allied subjects of Architecture with a minimum of 60 percent. Marks at either level and Eight years’ experience in teaching research/ Professional work out of which a full-time teaching experience of a minimum of three years (or) Thirteen years of professional experience.
Required Qualifications:
Professionally Accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree and Registration in Council of Architecture.
Mastet’s degree in relevant field. Candidates who have a doctoral degree in a listed area of interest or an allied field, and are active in research, will be given preference.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ph. D. in a relevant field
- For Associate Professor- A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in practice and/or academia is required after a Master’s degree.
- For Assistant Professor- A minimum of Three (3) years of professional experience in practice and/or academia is required after a Master’s degree.
- Relevant college-level teaching experience and an established or emerging trajectory for scholarly work.
Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for candidates whose post-graduate training has been multi-disciplinary, and ones that are interested in exploring multiple facets of their expertise. Candidates would be expected to teach undergraduate studios and seminars, while also demonstrating a keen interest in developing coursework and contributing towards evolving the curriculum. Given the inter-disciplinary nature of pedagogical practices at McGAN’S, candidates will be expected to teach students of architecture as well as students from across various design majors, and thus, develop coursework in a manner that highlights both the collaborative and inter-disciplinary
