Qualifications:
- PhD from reputed and premier Institutions in the field of Physics / Astrophysics/ Nuclear and Particle Physics / Earth and Planetary Science /Evolutionary Biology/ Chemistry and Material Science or in any of the related field with proven research experience and high quality publications.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as Professor in a premier academic set up.
- Administrative and leadership experience of minimum 5 years as Head of an academic Institution/Department of repute and ability to drive high impact research initiatives. Candidate should have the capabilities to oversee all research programs and initiating new, highly original thinking in the Natural Sciences by inducting and nurturing a group of highly visible, and exceptionally motivated researchers who will go on to become leaders in their fields.
