Position: Assistant Professor / Associate Professor
Department: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

Position Overview:
We invite applications from motivated and experienced professionals for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of ECE. The candidate should be passionate about teaching, research, and institutional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality instruction in core ECE subjects at undergraduate level.
- Conducting lab sessions, workshops, and student mentoring programs.
- Engaging in innovative curriculum development and pedagogical practices.
- Pursuing research in areas like VLSI, Embedded Systems, IoT, Communication Systems, Signal Processing, or related domains.
- Publishing research papers in Scopus/Web of Science-indexed journals and presenting at reputed conferences.
- Preparing and submitting proposals for funded research projects to agencies like AICTE, DST, DRDO, SERB, etc.
- Coordinating with peers for interdisciplinary research and academic collaborations.
- Contributing to NBA/NAAC accreditation documentation, quality enhancement, and department development activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or relevant specialization.
- Ph.D. (mandatory for Associate Professor; preferred for Assistant Professor).
Experience:
- Assistant Professor: 0–3 years (Fresh Ph.D. holders or NET/GATE qualified candidates may also apply).
- Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years of experience with at least 2 years post-Ph.D., along with substantial research and academic contributions.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Proven research experience with publications in peer-reviewed journals (SCI/Scopus).
- Experience in writing and securing research funding proposals from government or industry.
- Strong understanding of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Bloom’s taxonomy, and curriculum design.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), simulation tools (MATLAB, Cadence, Xilinx), and open-source platforms.
- Ability to guide student projects and research at UG/PG level.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to academic integrity, continuous learning, and collaborative work culture.
