The college was established in 2000 by M.Kumarasamy Health and Educational Trust and gained autonomous status in 2011. The Institution offers UG programmes, PG programmes and Ph.D programmes in various disciplines of Engineering, Technology, Science and Humanities. The college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, approved by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and accredited by NAAC with ‘A‘ grade.
