Organization Profile: It was a memorable day on May 01, 2016, at Jammu, when a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu & Kashmir and Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India, was signed, setting the ball rolling to set up an IIT campus at village Jagti, Tehsil Nagrota at Jammu. The site is located on the National Highway and is about 15 Km from the Airport. 

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Project Title: Development of automated flexible UT array for inspection of curved vertical surfaces of bridge piers

Qualification:

  • M.E./M.Tech/MSc or equivalent degree in Electrical /Electronics /Mechanical /Civil
    Engineering disciplines.
  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Civil/Mechanical/Instrumentation & Control
    disciplines or relevant field from reputed institute.
  • Qualified in any of the following National eligibility tests/exams:
    • GATE
    • CSIR -UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)
    • National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT
      IISc, IISER,NISER etc.

Job Location: Jammu

Duration: Initially for one Year. Duration may be extended depending on the performance or ending of the project whichever is earlier

Pay Scale: INR 37,000/- plus HRA as applicable
