Project Title: Cloning and characterization of a temperature sensor gene from Oryza sativa L. to develop climate resilient rice

Essential Qualification: The candidate should be M.Sc. (Ag.)/ M.Sc./ MTech Biotechnology/ Botany/ Life Sciences/ Plant Sciences/ M.Pharm/ Bachelor of Engg./ Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) or equivalent degree with high academic attainment with 1st class in Graduate and Post Graduate examination. “The resident of Uttar Pradesh are only eligible to apply.”
Desirable Qualification: Preferably with experience in Molecular Biology / Biochemistry and Bioinformatics and willing to do Full-time Ph.D.
Duration: 3 years
Fellowship/ Monthly Compensation: Rs. 25,000/- pm for first 2 years & Rs. 28,000/- pm for 3rd year
