Project position : JRF
Title of the project: “Optimization and Development of Microcube Wind Power Systems for Sustainable Low-Wind-Speed Applications in Decentralized Residential and Off-Grid Energy Use”.
Duration of the project: 36 Months (maximum) or until completion of the project (whichever is earlier).
Fellowship amount: Rs. 37,000/- per month consolidated (for the first 2 years), Rs. 42,000/- per month consolidated (for 3rd year)
Eligibility requirements: Candidate should hold an M.E./ M. Tech. with First class in Electrical Engineering and equivalent with specialization in Power System/Electronics and Drives/Renewable Energy Systems with a minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized university/institute with a good academic background and the candidate will be knowledge in engaged in performing CFD analysis using ANSYS, Fusion 360, or SolidWorks with a focus on aerodynamic design and optimization. Responsibilities include simulating airflow, analyzing the performance of components like turbine blades, and enhancing system efficiency through iterative modeling and testing in low-wind environments is desirable. Candidates must have a qualifying GATE/NET score will be preferred (old GATE/NET score can also be considered).
