Research Position: Junior Research Fellow

Title of the project: Development of Titanium-steel and Nickel-Titanium bimetallic structures through additive manufacturing for structural and aerospace applications

Sponsoring/Funding Agency: Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India (ASEAN-India Collaborative R&D Scheme)

Essential Qualifications: M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Materials / Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent with GATE/NET qualification. GATE is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant research/project experience

Desirable Qualifications:

·         Experience in additive manufacturing, metallurgy, or related fields.

·         Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

·         Ability and willingness to travel for research work.

Project Duration: 24 months

Stipend: Rs. 37,000 p.m + 8% HRA as per DST norms

Job Location: Avadi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
