IITRAM Project Title: Experimental and numerical investigations on the effect of process
parameters on the weld quality of polymeric materials by friction stir welding
Qualification:
- Candidate must have Bachelor/Postgraduate in Science / Mechanical Engineering / Polymer Science or equivalent, from the recognized university / Institute.
Note: The candidates appearing/appeared in their final year exam & awaiting their Bachelor’s/Post Graduate degree certificate may also apply
Duration of JRF Position: 3 years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier, However, after every year, the progress of the candidate will be reviewed for further
extension. The selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for the PhD program of IITRAM as per the available guidelines

Research Fellowship:
- Research Fellowship to NET/GATE candidates Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA
- Research Fellowship to non NET/GATE candidates Rs. 18,720/- per month
