Organization Profile: The Jahangirabad Educational Trust Group of Institutions run under the umbrella of Jahangirabad Educational Trust approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and PCI and affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, U.P. is an integrated campus imparting the degree and diploma courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, Arts and Commerce, and accordingly it is named as Jahangirabad Educational Trust Group of Institutions (JETGI). The JETGI also offers the courses in MBA, Electronic Media, Mass Communication & Journalism.
The institute is promoted by a large number of professionally successful Indians who are settled abroad and have come together to promote higher technical education amongst Indians. The college is located in the historic fort of Jahangirabad, in Barabanki District; about 30 km from Lucknow city. Barabanki, the eastern part of UP has been out of the technology race and remains industrially backward. But now the fort has developed itself into an important center for contact between JETGI and the community and has been exclusively restored for the educational and research activities.
JETGI has been founded to cherish the great values of transmission of knowledge, passionate pursuit of truth, maintenance of highest standards of teaching, providing scholarships to the deserving and finally enhancing the intellectual, cultural, economic and social well-being of the weaker sections of the society, especially Muslim minority community.
