Organization Profile: The Jahangirabad Institute of Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy run under the umbrella of Jahangirabad Educational Trust (JET) is approved by PCI and affiliated to AKTU and BTEUP, Lko, provides the education for degree and diploma courses in pharmacy with highly qualified and dedicated faculties. The Jahangirabad Educational Trust approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) is an integrated campus, and accordingly it is named as Jahangirabad Educational Trust Group of Institutions (JETGI) also offers the degree and diploma courses in Engineering, MBA, Electronic Media, Mass Communication & Journalism.
The institute is promoted by a large number of professionally successful Indians who are settled abroad have come together to promote higher technical education amongst Indians. The college is located in the historic fort of Jahangirabad, in Barabanki District, about 40 km from Lucknow city. Barabanki of eastern UP has been out of the technology race and remains industrially backward. But now the fort has developed itself into an important center for contact between JET and the community and has been exclusively restored for the educational and research activities.
