Research Prosition: Junior Research Fellow
Title of the project: To Investigate the Physio-Microstructural Features on the Tensile and Fatigue Behaviour of Strain-Induced Melt Activated Al 7xxx Alloys for Automotive and Aerospace Applications
Sponsoring/Funding Agency: SERB-DST, Govt. of India
Essential Qualifications: ME/MTech in Metallurgical, Materials Engineering/ Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Foundry Technology and Material Science or any other allied engineering (minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks all throughout) or B.E/B.Tech in Metallurgical, Materials Engineering/ Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Foundry Technology, Material Science or any other allied engineering (minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks all throughout with valid GATE score) and First class in M. Sc (Physics/Applied Physics/Chemistry with valid NET/ GATE certificate)
Desirable Qualifications: With a strong background in casting and simulation.
Project Duration: 36 months
Stipend: Rs. 31,000 p.m. + 16% HRA as per DST norms totally 35,960/-
