- A. (i) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Agricultural Economics/Development Economics/ Statistics/Agricultural Statistics, and published work of high quality, with a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per criteria given in Appendix-II, Table 2 (enclosed).
(ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and /or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates.

B. An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Agricultural Economics/Development Economics/Statistics, Agricultural Statistics from any academic institutions (not included in A above)/industry, who has made a significant contribution to the knowledge in the Economics/Applied Economics/Agricultural Economics/Development Economics/Statistics/ Agricultural Statistics supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.

- Associate Professor
- (i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Statistics/Agricultural Statistics.
(ii) A Master’s Degree in the subject of Economics/Agricultural Economics, Development Economics/Statistics with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in peerreviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix-II, Table 2.
- (i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Statistics/Agricultural Statistics.

Also required to send the names of three references and send copies of three best publications by post. While submission of hard copy, all applicants must ensure that an indexing of all documents has been done appropriately along with pagination so that Screening process is carried out in accordance with Table-2, Appendix-II for calculation of API Scores, wherever required. All documents and pagination should be done in the order of essential eligibility criteria. In case of non-compliance with the same, such applications will not be considered for screening process and candidature of the concerned applicant will be treated as rejected, without assigning any reason thereof.
