It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007 and came into action on July 2008. Essential Qualifications:

• Software Development
  • M. Tech. / MCA (Computer Science or allied discipline) from arecognized university/institution, with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
    And
    At least 07 years of work experience and good knowledge invocational and skill Training in ICT or industry experience relevant to Software Development, preferably in skill-based / vocational programmes.
    OR
    Ph.D. in Computer Science / Ph.D. in Software Development
• Media Technology
  • B. Tech. / M. Tech. / Post graduate in Multimedia and ICT from a recognized university/institution, with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
    And
    At least 07 years of work experience and good knowledge invocational and skill Training in Media Development or industry experience relevant to Film Development, preferably in skill-based Film Media Production.
    OR
    Ph.D. in Computer Science / Ph.D. in JMC with specialization inAdobe premiere, Final Cut-pro, CorelDraw and other Media Technology, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, PremierePro, After Effects), 3D / animation software (Blender, Maya, 3dsMax) Animation, VFX, motion graphics, Digital content creation.
• Tourism & Hospitality Management
  • MBA from a recognized university/institution, with minimum 55%marks (or equivalent grade).
    And
    At least 07 years of work experience and good knowledge invocational and skill Training in Tourism Entrepreneurship / Central Institute / Industry experience relevant to Re-skilling and Up-skilling trades.
    OR
    Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship Development with specialization in Wellness Tourism, Health Tourism, Energy Tourism, Agro Tourism, Temple Economy Tourism etc.

Job Location: Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh

Pay Scale: Selected candidates shall be a ceiling of maximum 25,000/- per month as per requisite guideline.
