Essential: a) MEO Class I (Motor) Certificate of Competency issued by Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India.
b) Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at the Management level within the meaning of STCW Convention, as amended.
c) VICT / TOTA Course Certificate or Willingness to undertake before joining.
Desirable: a) Six months of teaching/ training experience in Maritime Training Institute(s) in India.
b) TSTA Course Certificate. - FACULTY (NAUTICAL SCIENCE)
Educational & other qualifications required:
Essential: a) Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency issued by Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India.
b) Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at Management level within the meaning of STCW Convention, as amended.
c) VICT / TOTA Course Certificate or Willingness to undertake before joining.
Desirable: a) Six months of teaching/ training experience in Maritime Training Institute(s) in India.

1. Valid GMDSS (GOC) issued by Wireless Planning & Co-ordination Wing, Qualification: Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communication, Government of India.
2. COP (Second Class) issued by Wireless Planning & Co-ordination Wing, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communication, Government of India.
OR
Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency issued by Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India
3. Six months of Sea Service as Radio Officer within the meaning of STCW Convention, as amended.
OR
Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months as Navigating Officer at Management Level within the meaning of STCW Convention, as amended.
4. VICT / TOTA Course Certificate/ willingness to undertake before joining.
Desirable: (a) Six months of teaching/training experience in MTIs in India, preferably GMDSS Course.
(b) TSTA Course Certificate - FACULTY (MECHANICAL ENGINEERING)
Educational & other qualifications required:
Essential: a) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at both UG and PG level or at Integrated PG level in a relevant engineering discipline.

1. 3-year Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an institute approved by the All India Council of Technical Education
