Research Position: Junior Research Fellow
Title of the project: Development of wide-bandgap semiconductors-based highly efficient power electronics systems for Electric Vehicle
Sponsoring/Funding Agency: Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Govt. of India
Essential Qualifications: Candidates that fulfill the following qualification criteria are encouraged to apply for the position:
- Minimum of 4-year Bachelor’s degree OR a Master,s degree
- Qualifuing Degree Disciplines: Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Equivalent disciplines.
- Qualified in a national level test, such as- GATE / CEED / JEST / UGC-NET /CSIR-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) / Ph.D. only. (Requirements of the national level tests such as GATEAIET is exempted for candidates having > 8.0 CGPA in qualiffing degree from the Ministry of Education funded Technical Institutions (erstwhile CFTIs of MoE))
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates who have experience in Machine Design and Electric Drives Area are highly encouraged to apply
Project Duration: 36 months (The selected JRF candidate will have the opportunity to register for the Ph.D. program at IIT Roorkee as per institute norms)
Stipend: JRF: Rs. 37,0001- p.m. (for first two years) SRF: Rs. 42,0001- p.m. (for third year) + HRA as per ANRF norms
