Organization Profile: Indian Institute of Technology Patna is one of the new IITs established by an Act of the Indian Parliament on August 06, 2008. Patna which was known as Patliputra has been a center of knowledge since a long has been attracting visitors and scholars from many parts of the world such as China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and Sri Lanka, among others. This has been a land of visionaries. Some of the legends from this region include Lord Gautam Buddha, Lord Mahavir, Guru Gobind Singh, the famous astronomer Aryabhatta, and the first President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
Qualification:
(a) BE / B Tech/ BS / M.Sc/ MCA /equivalent degree in CSE/ AI/ EE/ECE: 60% marks or 6.50 CPI in B.Tech./BE from institutes other than IITs/IISc and 6.0 CPI in B.Tech. from IITs and IISc.
(b) Candidates with ME/ M Tech/ M Phil /equivalent degree CSE/AI/EE/ECE with first class
(minimum 60% marks or 6.50 CPI) in M.Tech./ME/MS
(c) Desirable: applicant should have qualified GATE or any other national level exam like NET.
(d) The upper age limit for applying for the Project Fellow shall be 28 years. Relaxations for
SC/ST/OBC/women/PD will be given as per the GOI rules
Duration of the post: :Initially for 1 year, may be extended for maximum of 4 years or till the end of the project, whichever is earlier
Pay Scale: Rs.42000/- per month
