Name of the Project: “PrecipCube”: Geospatial satellite observations data cube for precipitation research

Essential qualifications:
Ph.D. Degree in the relevant area of Civil Engineering / Computer Science Engineering / Geoinformatics / Atmospheric Science / Data Science, with specialization/research experience in the related domain.
Desirable :
Candidates with research/industrial experience in the field of computational geospatial data processing will be given an advantage. Expertise in advanced numerical methods for spatial analysis, handling large-scale datasets, and implementing OGC standards/data cube frameworks are highly desirable. Working knowledge in AI/ML for geospatial applications, experience in system integration, automation, and prior experience in geospatial decision- support systems or real-time data platforms are preferable.
Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Fellowship: INR 58,000/- per month + 27 % HRA (as per DST norms)
Duration : One Year (Initial Contract)
Note: The original agreement is for one year. Subject to satisfactory performance, the contract can be extended to two more years or till the completion of the project
