The mandate of the Institute is to provide higher technical education and conduct research in the various branches of Engineering, Science, Technology and Management. Originally established in 1961 as a Regional Engineering College (REC), it was transformed into a National Institute of Technology in 2002. Essential:
- B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering With expertise in magnetic design for power converters. Knowledge in power electronics and Circuit simulation are essential.
- Candidates must have at least 6.5/10 CGPA or 60 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized Technical Institute or University as a Full Time program and with valid GATE score.
Desirable: M.Tech in power electronics
Age Limit (optional): 35 years
Consolidated month pay: Rs.37,000 + 20% HRA
