Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sri City, Chittoor known as IIIT Sri City is an Institute of national importance, setting best-in-class technology education standards in India. IIITS was established in 2013 under the Government of India’s Initiative to set up 20 Institutes across India, focusing on Information Technology. IIIT Sri City offers B. Tech, M.S by Research and Ph. D. programs in the areas of Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communications Engineering.
The CSE Group at IIITS is actively conducting research in areas like Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, Distributed Computing, Cryptography, Cyber Security, Cyber Physical Systems, Bioinformatics and so on. The faculty members in the group consists of PhDs from reputed Institutes from India and abroad.

IIIT Sri City, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh is situated in Sri City which is a planned integrated business city located 55 km north of Chennai on NH 5 along the border of Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Tamil Nadu (TN) States of India. It is approximately 80 km away from Tirupati and 40 km away from Sri Kalahasti (Both are well known Temple cities in Andhra Pradesh). Other important landmarks nearby are the Pulicat Lake and the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR), India’s Satellite/Rocket launching center located at Sriharikota. Pulicat Lake separates SHAR (located on the Eastern side) and Sri City (located on Western side).
Research Position: Junior Research Fellow
Title of the project: Development of Novel Unsupervised Domain Adaptation Framework for Image Classification
Sponsoring/Funding Agency: Science and Engineering Research (SERB), New Delhi
Essential Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech in CSE/IT/ Equivalent and M.E/M.Tech in Equivalent, with minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA from any recognized University/Institute. With 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD applicants. Preference will be given for the candidates with Gate Score or UGC-NET qualification.
Desirable Qualifications: With a strong background in medical signal processing. Project Duration: 36 Months
Stipend: Rs. 31,000 p.m + 9% HRA as per SERB norms totally 33,790/-
