Established in 2013, IIITS has emerged as one of the top institutes among its peers due to academic and research advancements. The institute presently offers BTech programmes in two disciplines- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). With a view to provide skilled engineers, the IIITS is offering BTech specializations in AI & Machine Learning, Cyber Security and Data Science under CSE programme. ECE programme offers specializations in Cyber Physical Systems and NextGen Wireless Communication. IIITS has significant focus on UG-research, sponsored projects and scholarly research.
The institute offers MTech programme in AI & Machine Learning and PhD programmes in CSE and ECE. The institute also offers a unique Part-Time PhD programme for IT industry personnel and Scientists who working in Government of India Research labs such as DRDO, ISRO, etc.

The following positions are open in
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Mathematics/Data Science:
- Assistant Professor Grade (I): Equivalent to Level 12 in 7th CPC (Rs.101500-167400)
- Assistant Professor Grade (II): Equivalent to Level 11 in 7th CPC (Rs. 68900-117200)
- Assistant Professor (on Contract): Equivalent to Level 10 in 7th CPC (Rs.57700- 98200).
Terms of Appointment:
- The Recruitment Rules and Pay & Allowances of IIIT Sri City are benchmarked with CFTI (Centrally Funded Technical Institutions under Ministry of Education, Government of India) along with 7th CPC guidelines.
- Faculty will be appointed on regular basis with all possible service benefits. The other terms of employment and benefits are governed by the service conditions laid down by the Board of Governors of IIIT Sri City.
- In addition to pay & allowances equivalent to 7th CPC, faculty members are eligible for additional allowances as approved by the Board of Governors. Currently the institute offers higher HRA, LTA, medical insurance, etc.

- Higher starting pay (as Top-up Pay) will be offered to candidates possessing exceptional research and academic credentials.
- As per the approval of Board of Governors performance-based financial incentives are being offered for excellence level in teaching, research, academic administration.

In addition faculty are required to teach core subjects of CSE including Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, Databases, etc. under OBE (Outcome Based Education) Curriculum
Mathematics/Data Science:
- Teaching: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Big Data Analytics or equivalent areas
- Research: All areas of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Big Data Analytics, Data Science or equivalent areas
Qualification: UG and PG degrees in the relevant or equivalent disciplines of CSE/Mathematics and a Ph.D. degrees in relevant or equivalent disciplines from leading recognized universities with consistently excellent academic records.
Essential: All new entrants shall have Ph.D. in relevant or equivalent discipline and shall have first class in their preceding Degrees.
Candidates who have earned their PhD /Post Doc experiences from reputed overseas universities or CFTIs such as IISc, top IITs, top NITs etc. with high potential for quality teaching and research are encouraged to apply.
Faculty members are expected have high level of competences to engage with students/learners through online mode for teaching, mentoring, assessments, etc
