Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Title of the project: Developing a moisture and moist static energy-based diagnostic framework for intraseasonal variability over the Indian region during boreal summer(RP519)

Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Science / Engineering / Technology from a recognized university/institute. The candidate must have studied Mathematics at the undergraduate level and should have a consistently good academic record. The candidate must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (JRF/LS) / GATE or any equivalent national-level examination.
Relevant Experience: Knowledge of atmospheric general circulation and dynamic meteorology. Experience working with climate datasets (reanalysis/model/observational). Proficiency in scientific programming using Python / MATLAB / NCL (or similar languages/tools) for data analysis and visualization.

Consolidated Pay: Upto Rs.43660(37000 + HRA @18%)(depending upon qualification & experience)
Tenure: 36months (27.10.2025 to 16.10.2028). Period of Engagement in project: Initially for 1 year with possible extension depending on performance, requirement of the Institute etc.
