Organization Profile: The Bharathiar University was established at Coimbatore by the Government of Tamilnadu in February 1982 under the Bharathiar University Act, 1981 (Act 1 of 1982). The erstwhile Postgraduate Centre of the University of Madras formed the core of the Bharathiar University, which was functioning at Coimbatore before 1982. University Grants Commission (UGC) recognized Bharathiar University in 1985 for grants.

Qualification:

Master in Electronics / Electrical & Communication / Electrical and Instrumentation/Physics with Ph.D or NET/SLET., Placement Officer – Any PG in Arts and Science with 05-10 years of experience in organizing placements and inviting industries. PG Tamil & English with Ph.D or NET/SLET.,
Experience: Teaching and Industrial experience in the field of electronics and manufacturing is preferable.
Tenure: The service of the guest faculty is purely temporary and the service will be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons
Pay Scale:
- Rs.25,000/- for Guest Lecturer
- Rs.30,000/- for Placement Officer
