College Profile: Gharda Institute of Technology (GIT), Lavel, Tal. Khed, Dist. Ratnagiri, Maharashtra – 415 708, is an NAAC “A” Grade Engineering Institute, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. The institute founded by Padmashree Dr. Keki Gharda in 2007 to impart affordable engineering education in Konkan region.

Qualification for Faculty: Ph.D / Master’s Degree / Bachelor’s Degree with First Class in all the preceding degrees in the appropriate branch of Engineering with an exemplary academic record throughout.
Experience for Faculty:
- Assistant Professor: Minimum 2 Years of Experience.
- Associate Professor: Minimum 5 Years of Experience of which 2 years Post Ph.D experience
- Professor: Minimum 10 Years of Experience of which atleast 5 years at the level of Associate Professor.
Faculty Candidate Profile:
- Good Communication skills.
- Faculty who can successfully execute R & D and Consultancy will be preferred.
- Faculty who can promote Patents, Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), Innovation, Tinkering Lab, IDEA labs, Industry Interaction and other value-added courses will be preferred.
